MG MG Y Type - YT Sold on e-bay

FYI,
The YT I was offered for $16K (USD) sold on e-bay for slightly less than $11K. Pretty decent car for that money.

Which one was that? Was it MG Y/T 4962 is now on eBay and is avaialble in New York State, USA at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140622190809&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123? If so, it failed to reach reserve and was relisted as http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140629694288 this time without reserve and at the time of writing has just over 4 days left to go so you can still get in there.

The seller is a friend of mine. I was offered this car, went and looked at it, but declined. Tuesday night (11/1) at our car club meeting he told me the car was sold for $10,600. Not sure why is shows 4 days left.

Thanks for the update - didnt know you knew the seller that well. Can you please ask him to contact me (my email address is shown on this message) with details of buyer so we (the International MG Y Type Register) can offer the buyer help with the finishing of the rebuild etc?
