MG MG Y Type - YT-Dipswitch only


Dear all

Does anyone of you know for certain, where the dip switch of the YT is situated?

a. Is it in the combined ignition lock / light switch on the dashboard's centre panel, as with the TC? If so, does the footrest panel come without the two small - and the one big hole for the foot-operated dip switch?

b. Is it situated on the footrest (behind the clutch pedal)as with the YA / YB? If so, what type of combined ignition lock / light switch is being used - does it have one or wo lighting positions?

The dipswitch for the YT is on the pedal board - as with the YA/B and is the same switch. The switch should have a domed rubber gripper cover over it so your foot does not slide off.

The ignition switch lighting control has 3 positions - OFF, S (fo side lights)and H (for headlights).
