MG MG Y Type - YT Chronometric Speedometers

Need to oder a part from Speedograph Richfield to get my speedo working again with some accuracy. They want the Jaeger part # of the speedo. My speedo face has been replaced and the part # is no longer there.
I think I know that the TC had a number 1600 and the early TDs with the chronometric had 1650.These #s represent revs per mile.Does anyone have any idea what the original YT LHD or EXU had for this #. Proably any other version of the YT would also suffice although the MG part # is slightly different E.G 1390 vs 1391, Terry

This speedo stuff is pretty esoteric and forgetable until for some reason you need the model number. The Y parts manual has two part #s but they are MG #s and there is no cross reference that I can find to the Jaeger #s. David Lawrence confirms Bob's #s and David does not give any other #. In any event the important # for my present purpose is 1600 which is the cable revolution per mile and is the same as the TC. I was wrong about the early TD with the chronometric, the # there apparently is 1675. Maybe the other # for a TD speedo is s463 although sequentially it makes no sense. Terry

Thought I'd mention that I have just had the mechanical parts of our YT's speedo refurbished by Lionel Otto Instruments, 124 Evans Rd, Salisbury, Queensland 4107 in Brisbane, Australia. (info@ottoinstruments.com.au)
They did a quick job as the speedo's erratic behaviour had caused the car to be rejected by the mechanic for its annual test (MOT in UK and "rego" here). Reasonable price too although the face was not restored othewise it would not match the tacho which still works well.
I was recommended to them and endorse the recommendation. They work on all kinds of instruments. Rob
