MG MG Y Type - YMG 158

I recently bought four pictures on an auction site, of an MG YB, registration, YMG 158. The vendor told me that the pictures were taken at a car show in Denver, Colorado in 1990 but had no further details.
Paul Barrow has already given me a clue as to whom it may belong/belonged, but if anyone else can enlighten me , then I can pass the info on for the record. One image attached.
