MG MG Y Type - YB Front brokes

I am in the process of overhauling the front drivers side brakes and lost the piece of paper I have used to show the relative position of each brake cylinder - which way round do they fit i.e. the orientation of them relative to each other. As you look at the brakes from the side [of the front of the car on the drivers side] does the cylinder on the right hand side that is nearest the front of the car have its piston (with adjuster located on top of it) facing up or down?
Confused.....

On the YB with the twin leading shoe, imagine the wheel rotation in a forward direction and the adjusting cam always goes at the END of the cylinder. So, on the front cylinder, the cam is at the bottom and on the rear cylinder it is at the top.

Does that answer your question?

Yes I think so - I take it the w/cylinder nearest the front of the car[as you look at the brake plate from the side] has its cam at the bottom which is how mine is set up. If that's so I'm OK - apparently if you mount the w/cylinders up side down you get excellant braking in reverse gear but going forwards....
Thanks Paul....I have 'done' the brakes many times over the years but having lost my notes this time I thought it best to check before putting it all back together. One of my w/cylinders had siezed which shows it's best to renew the brake fluid every couple of years as normal brake fluid absorbs water causing the aluminium piston to sieze.
