MG MG Y Type - XPAG ENGINE (reconditioned)
| I have a partially dismantled XPAG engine which is a bit of a mystery to me. I don't think that it was out of my first YB but I may have obtained it with a job lot of dismantled MG components 35+ years ago. Is anyone able to tell me if it's off a YA, a YB, or a YT or for that matter anything else? It has two labels riveted to it showing:- BMC replacement engine No.C43126 Part No.SA2445/2. Bore size and crank size standard. I also have a pair of twin carburettors which may have come with the engine, which indicates that it might have come off a sports car or a YT. I will shortly be selling both items on E-Bay and so would like to be able to describe it accurately. If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful to hear from them. Thanks in anticipation Clive Evrall |

| Thanks for visit Jerry, you have been most helpful. I had thought that it may have been off a TD or a TF owing to the circumstantial evidence of my having twin carburettors in what was probably the same job lot of MG spares obtained over 35 years ago. I am still mentally drooling over your TA! Thanks again Clive |
