For any one wanting to go 'wires' (and good luck to you cleaning them and keeping them clean) there is a conversion kit on eBay currently. I dont know if the stud pattern is the same on a YB as on a Y/YT as I dont (yet) have a YB!

But are you pulling our legs, Paul? You must know that the stud pattern on a YA/T is different from the YB/TD/TF!

This kit suits the YB only.

I guessed it was, but as I dont have a YB (donations welcome) I couldnt run out and compare so I threw a caveat in!

I've seen some of Paul's engineering, and I assure you he would get YB wheels to fit a YA some how.....

And just in case...if you want (heavy, difficult to clean, easy to rust, and regular broken spokes) spoked wheels on your YB, use those from the TD plus all the extra bits like halfshafts etc.
