MG MG Y Type - Wanted, front jack.

Anyone not too far away got a front Jackall jack? I only need one, one that does not leak.....the current one has so many pot marks from corrosion in its leg it will never seal.

I have had good luck in the past coating the shaft with solder and then polishing it down to a smooth surface. I use a good acid core solder and a propane flame.

If you contact Francois Collard he only wants €100 for a complete set - jacks, pipes, pump, tank, brackets. Admittedly you dont want the rest of the stuff, but I need a good front left too so would stump you some money for that and then the rest will find other good homes in due course I am sure Neil. Before I found I needed a new front left, I was asked for my spares which have also now been recycled to bring another Y back to life.

The BBS though is not really the correct place to place advertisements for Wanted or For Sale though.
