MG MG Y Type - Two things...

1) Northamtonshire in the UK is to mix its winter road salt with sugar this year. Has anyone done any tests to see just how tyres grip a wet road coated in sugar? If anyone like me rides a solo motorcycle this is quite important, or drives a car right up behind the one in front (tailgating). This will apparently save lots of money as the rain will not wash the salt away so easily.

2) An article in Old Bike Mart was about ETHANOL in our petrol, currently 5%. The only fuel they found that does not contain ETHANOL in TOTAL ECELLCIUM 97 octane. The new MGCC Y Type website has some very interesting info on this. It opens on 10th October.
