you can change the switch by putting a presure switch be hind the break master cylinder fitted to a banjeo from front wheel cylinder but you have to re tap the thread and fit union from front wheel cylinder also fownd on wolseley 4/44

Are you referring to the YA/YT or the YB?

The switches fitted inside the pedal box on the YA/YT are now extremely scarce. The MG Car Club Y Type Register can sell you a new pressure switch that just fits on the back of your YA/YT master cylinder without having to do any mods. Check out the Regalia page at www.mgytypes.org.
