MG MG Y Type - Shaft for Pedals
It appears I am in need of a new pedal shaft. The original part # is S90/5. We have emailed NTG and hopefully will hear tomorrow. But in the event NTG does not have it does anyone have another source or have any suggestions as to repair. Terry

Beware getting a shaft for the TD which is totally different. I fitted an NTG one years ago but I drilled it right through the centre and then out to each pedal, then fitted a grease nipple each end. I can easily lubricate it all now. The worst wear will be in the clutch pedal bush. The MGCC Y Register do a 'help-sheet' for this. NC.

Can you get the clutch pedal shaft bush anywhere? Mine is worn and I have never come across a replacement for it.

Hello Terry, I had the same problem with my pedal shaft. I had it machined down between the knurls and installed a split bushing over the machined down area and spot welded it in place, then remachined this survace. Walla. Cheers, Kim
