MG MG Y Type - Seat Belts - update

Since the recent postings about fitting seat belts in a Y type was discussed recently on the bulletin board I have located a company that fits belts to classic cars. They can be found at

http://www.auto-safe.co.uk/

I have spoken to one of the technical people there and he is willing to look at a Y type and advise on how they would fit belts. If anyone lives in the London area and would take their Y round there maybe we could find out how and how much - they think about £200-£250 max for fitting two 3 point inertia reel seat belts - this includes welding brackets etc - so how about someone willing to show them a Y and get a proper quote etc. The contact to ask for is Peter Sesay and as they fit during the day ring about 3 pm.
They can advise on the best place to fit the manufactured mounting points as well and have experience of fiting belts to old cars.

Now I really wonder how they will solve the problem of the pillar position being AHEAD of the front seats !
