Excellant read from Neil Cairns on the cars body repairs and respray - not something I would ever do given the costs [I still use my old Apollo spray outfit with cellulose paint (yes you can still get it)- does not achieve anything more than an acceptable finish and I still use plastic filler if necessary but that suits me as I don't have to worry about getting an odd scratch/dent or three!]. Like Neil I do most repairs myself but understand his desire to get it done quickly - over the 30 years I have had my YB it's had a lot of time 'off the road' but I was only in my 20s when I got it - now I want to use it regularly before too many more years pass -life does side track us all somewhat.
