Henry If you go to the Links page, there is a company there - Sportscar Metalworks - who make all of those. I am just buying a NEW made spare wheel panel for £250 from him. He makes the panels for a well known Y-parts reseller in East Anglia! Paul

Henry, I have had my doors re skinned on the outside. Used a company called vintagecars.com based in Lymington Hampshire, UK . They do charge the going hourly rate but did a good repair of my outer door skins which prior to being re skinned were lumpy and bumpy with rust. The problem with the Y type is there are so few cars that not many panels are made due to economies of scale. However on the other hand even if you purchased panels for a Mustang i too can assure you that the panels too do not fit, so you are better off getting them specially made. Richard

Whilst repair panels are the best option you can do a lot particularly with rusted door bottoms by having them grit blasted and patches brazed in and use contour filer. It's also a lot cheaper.
