MG MG Y Type - REAR HUB NUT SPANNER
| Guys Does anyone have a Rear Hub Nut Spanner for a YA and YT. It is noted in the Maintenance Manual Instruction Book on page S3 (Special Tools). There is a drawing - Illustration No S.3 Rear Hub Nut Spanner T.106 The description is: 'The eight equally spaced prongs fit into the serrations of the rear hub nut, obviating any difficulty in slackening and tightening of the rear nut'. Look forward to hearing from anyone who has come across this part or has one available. Sincerely Jerry |

| I too asked myself that question when came the time to change my rear hub grease seals. I tried to figure a way to make that tool from scratch and when I gave up, I tried loosening the nut with a puch and hammer, knowing that I might irreversably dammage the expensive nuts (30£ each). Well it did not happen as I thought. The nut ultimately spun without important dammage. |
