Being a tight fisted old git I made one out of plywood...years ago.

Being a tight fisted old git, but having progressed out of the stone age, I made mine out of a piece of 14 gauge aluminium sheet by much drilling and filing.

Being equally tight fisted I decided for the small amount of money involved it wasnt worth my time to mess around making anything, but rather buy what was on offer at a much cheaper price than Moss's rather nasty wooden one as this fits nicely in the glove box and now comes in an attractive holder/wallet.

Sometimes the juice isnt worth the squeeze and sure you can make one, but when you get a flat tire are you going to whittle one out of wood ... or buy one that someone else has made. Both will work, but I know which route I am going down - every time!
