MG MG Y Type - Pinion Seal- Differential

Does anyone know if the Pinion Seal for the TC available from Moss, Peter Edney and I suspect others will work for the YA/YT. Terry

Do you mean the pinion seal on the rear differential? If so, when I had a diff rebuilt I think I obtained mine from NTG, however you might also want to check the size out at a good bearing shop.

I installed a Moss pinion shaft seal in a TC and it works great. Also installed the rear main setup in a TD engine and that was very worthwhile, too.

The YA/YT one is not TC or TD. You need NTG p/n G451AY for the pinion bearing, £127.30 and G451BY for the bearing carrier £33.77 plus shipping.

It is worth making sure you get the right one though for the YA/YT, but you might want to take it to a bearing shop and see if they can match it first.
