MG MG Y Type - Overriders
| Will TC/TD overriders / bumper guards conform to the Y's bumper curvature? Or are the Y's overriders particular to the Y? Thank you & best regards, Gilles Bachand |

| The YT/YB overiders are the same as the overiders used on the TC EXU, other TC's did not have bumpers or overiders. The same overider was also used on the 1947-1950(?) Ford Prefect. They are very hard to come by but every so often some appear on the TC site on Ebay. The TD overider is quite different but easily available and id will fit. The Morris Minor one looks similar to the Y variety just a bit smaller and it will also fit. Terry |

| Gilles Terry is correct, however if you contact Bryan Purves (see Links page on www.mgytypes.org) Bryan actually makes genuine correct repro Y overriders for YT and YB owners (they were never fitted to YAs as original equipment, and were only ever offered options on the YB (maybe to use up old stock following the premature withdrawal of the YT - who knows?).
