MG MG Y Type - MORE Y'S FOR SALE

There is an excellent website CAR and CLASSIC which I am sure many of you may have visted. If you are buying or selling a classic it is an excellent free site that allows you to update regularly etc. I used it to sell my TA and found it hugely effective.

Anyhow trawling through the site I came across two YA's which are for sale one a YA being sold by Barrie Carter in Devon with a 5 gear box, nice interior etc and an asking price of £10,250. You can see the details on C249382 on the C and C site.

The other is a 1951 YA which again is very nice - except for the flashers installed in the front wings, which looks very naff (in my view), a wonderful dash panel and what looks like lambswool carpeting. The asking price at £17k seems rather optimistic.You can see the details on C242996.

Usual caveats - no finacial interest etc etc, Just thought that they might be of interest. The first YA, which is finsished in I think a non-stndard green but does look good, and with a 5 speed box (which from personal experience is a great boon)could be a good buy.
