MG MG Y Type - MG YB FOR SALE

I guess that those of you who receive Safety Fast will have noted that there is a YB for sale in Cambridgeshire. It apparently has been with the same owner since 1963. Is MOT'd etc and the price is around £4,750. I would have followed that up ( I know you be saying 'He's always saying that') - but with no storage space or immediate access to the reddies it's rather a no-no. It's the first time that I have seen a Y advertised in SF for a long time.

Also for those of you who fancy a TC - again there is a model sans scuttle and body (but seemingly with everything else there presumably XPAG engine and gear box) for £1k. It's more than likely gone and/or the vendor has got the price right/wrong!

Anyhow I'll see you guys who are coming to the Spring Run and Dinner this weekend. 28 Y's booked in - which is par for the course and about 6 or 7 interlopers (all MG's - except for a Healey and an Alfa)!

I have a phone call from one or two folks who are restoring/would like to see a running Y so that will be fun.

It also happens to be a steam timetable on Sunday so you can bring your Y along, if you haven't booked in, see some wonderful motors and enjoy the atmosphere generated by the those amazing steam locomotives from a time in the past.

Nostalgia rules OK!
