MG MG Y Type - MG CAR CLUB ACCOUNTS

Can anyone send me a copy of the latest published accounts of the MGCC?

A copy will be sent.

As I understand the procedures of the MGCC, the only set of accounts - that is an Income Statement and a Balance Sheet - that will be available at this time are for the year ended 31 December 2008. The 2009 accounts are not released until about a week before the Main Club AGM sometime in September 2010. These are the Consolidated Accounts of all the Centres, Registers, and Branches (CRBs). Shortly after that time these are indeed available to members on request and can also be obtained from Companies House after they have been filed.

Between now and the September Council and AGM they will be getting Accounting Returns in from the CRBs, consolidating them and going through audit.

At this time I would expect that the accounts for the Kimber House operation of Main Club are available, but only the Income Statement used to be distributed and no Balance Sheet. The circulation of the Income Statement for Kimber House/Main Club was restricted to committee members of the CRBs. I do not know if this is what George Wilder is referring to, or if it is what you were wanting. If you are a member of the MGCC, as George says give Kimber House a call and ask for a set to be sent to you ... but remember to specify which year you want - 2008 or 2009. Not sure who you would ask for as Maggie Yeadon is not there now, but Julian White should be able to help.
