MG MG Y Type - Locking Fuel Cap

Does anyone know a source of or a specification for a lockable petrol cap for Y Types? It is probably the same as T Types. With the cost fuel today and the fact that it is so easy to siphon from a Y a lockable cap makes sense!

I drive a TC and do not know of any locking t-type fuel caps, I suspect no Y-types are available as well. I know what you mean about the cost of fuel and I suppose it would be wise to park in clear site of a police station or other official location when you can...lacking that, common sense in night time parking areas would work well. You cannot stop the rascals but you might slow them down. Really, the major gas companies should add something that is really obnoxious tasting to prevent the siphoning of gas by mouth tube. After all, they charge the public enough they could add flavors!

I heard many years ago that you could modify a fuel filler pipe from a Morris Minor (for which there is a lockable cap available) to fit a Y. You may have to weld the Morris end to the Y type pipe possibly?
