MG MG Y Type - Leake Car Auction - Texas, USA

No, I am not refering to the wonderful experience of Y Type driving in the rain but rather The Leake Car Auction that will take place in Houston, Texas, USA on September 19-20 2009.

Lot number 2710 is a 1950 MG YA http://www.leakecar.com/CurrentConsignments.asp?Auction=HOUSTON09&LOT=2710 with No Reserve!!

Lot number 2750 is a 1949 MG Y/T EXU http://www.leakecar.com/CurrentConsignments.asp?Auction=HOUSTON09&LOT=2750 again with No Reserve!!

This is a really once in a life time opportunity to get in on a bargain ... or two.

International buyers may well be advised to put in bids - you never know, you could pick up a bargain for next to no money (or get out bid - but at least you will have tried!).

The MG YA went for $6600 only!! Absolute bargain of the Century!
http://www.leakecarauction.com/PreviousAuctions.asp?Auction=HOUSTON09&LOT=2710. I have asked Leake to please forward my details to the new owner so that we can make contact and they can be brought into the worldwidw MG Y Type fellowship.

The fate of the YT (item 2750 in the same auction) is not listed and I have asked them what happened there too.

More later I hope!

I have been in touch with Leake Auctions and the YT was withdrawn from the sale by the seller for reasons not given.
