MG MG Y Type - Help needed near Abingdon
| The late Alan Garraway has left his YB to his brother Gordon who has contacted me for help in what to do with it. The car, previously unknown to our Register, was his brother’s pride and joy but his ill health meant that it has been garaged for the last 15 years and is now in need of some TLC. The body work is apparently in good condition but the rear brakes are ceased and Gordon has not been able to back it out of the garage. He would like the help of a knowledgeable Y owner to assess the cars condition, advise on what can be done with it and give a rough estimate of value. As he wanted to avoid the usual second hand car dealer traps he contacted MGCC (he lives in Abingdon) and they put him on to me. The car is garaged 25 miles east of Abingdon. If you feel that you could help please contact me chair@mgytypes.org and I will put you in touch with Gordon. |

| Hope you get someone for this Peter. If I was still in the UK I would have been happy to run up there and sort the Y out - unfortunately current distance rules this out though. Paul |
