MG MG Y Type - Happy Birthday - Y Register Website
| The Y Register Website is Seven Years old today!! The website has been instrumental in enhancing the status of the Y Type in both the MG and Classic Car communities. I would like to thank Paul for vast amount of work and the number of hours he has contributed in making the website the success it is. The popularity of the site, almost 174,000 hits since its launch, endorses this. We would also like to thank everybody around the world for their contributions to the site, without which we would have been unable to achieve this superb 'Depository of "Y" Type Knowledge', that we can all share. Well Done to all! David Pelham prman AT mgytpes.org |

| Thank you David. It has been a pleasure to wokr on this project and see the frankly amazing amount of stuff that has come out. I think when we first sat down to discuss the possibilities of setting up a website in Andrew Gilham's photo studio in February 2002, none of us expected anything like the results we have now: I certainly did not! As you say David, this is a tribute to firstly the MG Y (without which there would not actually be a site at all, but also to you the owners (aka custodians!!) of Ys everywhere as without your input it would bea pretty dull an inactive site. Please keep the flow of stuff coming in, and I will try to keep up with it all. Remember, IT IS YOUR SITE so if you dont see it - ask for it. Best wishes to all, Paul |
