MG MG Y Type - Fuel tank mounting

I repaired the fuel tank of my MG YB. I wonder how the tank should be mounted. Its now directly bolded to the chassis. Should there be somekind of rubber in betweeen the fuel tank and the mounting plate on the chasis?

Just directly on with the three bolts.
