MG MG Y Type - Fluid for Jackall System
Hi Guys I am aware that jackall fluid is required for the hydraulic jacking system. Where can I get it and is there an alternative that mixes with the existing jackall fluid. Many thanks Jerry

Jerry Per the thread on Jackall Fluid on the Technical Advice page at www.mgytypes.org - motor cycle fork oil is OK - about 20 S.A.E.. Available at any self-respecting motor cycle shop - in the UK you may even be able to get it at Halfords. Paul

It is best to use a non-foaming fork oil sold for motorcycles. You can use ordinary SAE 20 found cheap at supermarkets, but it will soon fill with air bubbles as it enters and leaves the jacks. NC.
