MG MG Y Type - Door hardware

There is a chrome ring set into the front door and a matching chrome stud on the pillar. Having now got my car back I have discovered that the driver's door is missing both of these parts. Are these available? Where? What is the proper names for these pieces?

I guess you are referring to the locator pin and the escution?

Short answer as far as I know - no they are not available other than on 'salvage'. I would go back to your garage and give them a very hard time about that if I were you.
