MG MG Y Type - Does the Petrol Gauge / Unit work?

Can anyone advise how best to check whether the petrol sender unit is working or whether the fuel gauge isnt? Chris

Have you read the article in the Hints and Tips page at www.mgytypes.org entitled "Fuel Sender and gauge testing"? Think you will find that the answer is already there.

Dont forget folks - check the Technical Center, both Hints and Tips, and Technical Advice: many of these sorts of things are already covered ... and if it isnt, ask the Y TECHNOBODS (aka David Pelham and Neil Cairns) via the link on Technical Advice, and the answer will then not only be available to you, but also to others.
