MG MG Y Type - Complimentary or Plagiarism

Wow, big changes over at www.mgccyregister.com

Looking like the site is undergoing symbolic "Phoenix" return in style of the www.mgytypes.org, the "event and tech info sections" background is similar shade of "brown" and the menu is now in "tabular layout", just like www.mgytypes.org
Had both sites open in two browser tabs and suddenly got confused which site I was on when I couldn't find copies of an old issue of the in club publication of MG Car Club Safety Fast Mag and whilst on www.mgccyregister.com couldn't find and then found on IMGYR.

Anyway after a moments confusion and "LOL" normal service resumed thanks to quickly finding the article on the old IMGYR.

Time for a pint.

I'm not quite sure what you are on about Richard.

I always thought that brown and cream had something to do with M.G.'s but perhaps I am wrong!

The key thing surely is the content? Neil is the author of the articles in 'Neil's Corner' on the IMGYR site and of course those on MGCC Y Reg site.

The copyright is of course with Neil

Jerry,

I was just making comment on my bafflement to see the new brown background as used by the IMGYR, whilst still retaining a blue theme for the majority of pages.

In my view it looks disfunctional!. It should be the one colour and it looks like it is trying to replicate the IMGYR by moving to a brown background and uses a similar tabular layout with wonky lines as opposed to css as it were designed to do.
I accept the comment the menu's were cumbersome, but this is about management of the site or the poor understanding in the management of it.

In respect of Safety Fast again I was baffled why I couldn't find what I was looking for on the "Safety Fast & Articles" menu title, as I expected to find it here on the MGCC Y Registers site and then must swapped browsers and hey it was on the IMGYR, which was good, because it answered a query I had without having to go back through old issues of paper SF Mag.

Yes, you are correct Jerry, content is key, hence why I use IMGYR when in need of a Y Related hint or tip, as it has a large source of information.

I'm not too sure what you mean by your comment about 'Neil's Corner?' Although Neil has useful articles published on the MGCC Y Reg site, he is about the only contributor to the site!
1 year and 39 weeks since the MGCC Y Reg site was started, I am surprised at how few "other" people, have failed to contribute. Perhaps Neil could add the articles to the IMGYR and then we could just have the one site for all things Y and save looking between two sites, just a thought!
