MG MG Y Type - Cheap set of YA/YT Half shafts

There is a complete YA/YT axle on eBay currently (see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4620623036&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1).

This is (I believe) complete with casing, half shafts and diff. If you are bidding from overseas (or thinking of doing so) I am sure if you check with Mark McGuire beforehand and only want say, the half shafts or the diff etc. he will probably be agreeable to splitting the item for you to keep you freight bill down.

I have no financial interest in the transaction - just providing a service.

unfortunately it is more than an axle for sale. the seller has broken a restoration project

You are correct Willem, but Mark is willing to take out just the half shafts if that is all you want if you win the auction. Presumably that will then leave him free to sell the differential and casing as another item, which seems perfectly fair to me. That is why I have suggested that interested parties communicate with Mark through the eBay system to establish this before bidding.
