MG MG Y Type - Chassis/car # is a mystery what is this

I been looking at # Y/T/EXU 2948, engine # xpag/TL/ 12821.

can someone tell what year and make this is?
is there a web site i can go to?

This is a MG YT that was manufactured on the 27th April 1949. Less than 900 of these cars were made and it was an export model, with all but three being exported.
