MG MG Y Type - Australia MG meet

I just saw on the site Tony Slater's message about the MG meet and 60 anniversary meet for Ys. Am going to be in Australia in April and would love to put in an appearance. Where is Tamworth? Can we reserve on line? Terry

The 2009 MG National Meeting will be at Geelong in Victoria.

We are hoping for at least 5 Saloons and 5 Tourers so they will have a seperate class for each. At the moment we have intentions from 3 of each so we are nearly there.

The 2009 Nat Meet will also see the presentation of the "David Lawrence Trophy" for Y-Types. More on this soon!.

Terry, if you or any other Y-Typers can make it to Geelong without your cars, I'm sure we can muster some locals to get you a ride or two in a Y-Type while you are Down Under.

The National Meeting is a very busy four day event for participants, but the spectating is casual and free at most events. Catered events are "participant only".

We will be having a Y-Typers get together dinner/meal on one evening for both participants and spectators.

It is a certainty that my YT will be there in spirit only, conveyed by me. But we would love to get together with the Y group. My email address on this BBS is outdated; change the 1 to an 8. I would have changed it myself on the BBS but since I got the new email address the spam and junk mail has dissapeared, so I attribute that major annoyance to this BBS.
