MG Midget and Sprite Technical - windscreen fitting
Just about to fit windscreen and i am not sure which way round to fit the pillar seals is it side A to pillar or side B to pillar.

In picture A we are looking at the top of the seal. Picture B shows the underside. Its worth putting some windscreen frame sealer under these pads to stop rain running down the pillars and getting into the body. Excess sealant that squidges out can be wiped away with white spirit.

D'oh, wish I'd had that advice (about sealant) before I attached mine, I hope it doesn't leak... Have fun getting the windscreen on, I'm in no hurry to take mine off again, if it leaks I'll probably just live with it!

Mike, what sealer did you use? suspect seal sealer is a bit strong so maybe black gutter seal? Hopefully fitting this week! -Craig

I used the black non-setting windscreen sealer. This the stuff http://www.frost.co.uk/automotive-windscreen-tools/black-windscreen-sealer.html
