MG Midget and Sprite Technical - windscreen aerial

anybody out there no where you can buy the windscreen mounted aerial that fits onto the windscreen gutter. its fixed to the screen surround using a u shaped mounting bracket which is then tightened with two grub screws. i have one fitted at moment but needs renewing. looked on ebay, but no luck, Dan

I've been using a tax disc holder arial on my sprite for 20 plus years.

Here's a current one I found with google search.

thats almost the same, same type of bracket anyway, wanted telescopic one really but it might be closest one i can get. never seen tax disc type but . it would be the easy way to do it. Dan H

Have you got a picture of your aerial mounted on your car?
Ive got one horizontal mounted behind the grill what works in the UK but for some reason not in Holland.
I dont like the glue-on-your-screen aerials but never heard of this one before.

When I enlarge the pictures of Dave's link I cant see the mounting bracket.

A telescopic could be nicely fitted on the pillar on the inside of the screen so the cableconnection could be out of sight.
