MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Seat cover patterns

Hello All,

I want some new seat covers and I'm a tight yorkshire lad. Therefore I don't want to spend £170 on a new set, when I can buy the vinyl for £15.

I'm not only a dab hand in the workshop but also in the utility room with a sewing machine so all i need now is some patterns for the 1500 1979 seats.

Anyone got any ideas where to get these? I don't want to risk taking my current covers to pieces just yet!

If anyone has any old seat covers kicking around from a recent change then I'd love those to take apart.

Hey Christian,

I've got a pair of 1973 covers which I think are the same pattern?

I was going to re-use a bit of the vinyl, so if you could bung me a chunk of vinyl in return, about 3ft square in blue or black, they're yours.
