MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Seat belt guides

Anyone else have trouble with their (inertia) seat belts disappearing every time you reach for them?
If so has anyone tried these from a Rover SD1?

No and not sure how to use them.

I made my own guide and fitted to the hood bracket.

I was thinking of fixing them to the top of the seats and threading the belts through them.
Do you have any photos of your set up Bob?
