MG Midget and Sprite Technical - removing rear suspension before paint
| Morning all! I thought I'd get on the job of removing my rear axle and scrape and paint the underside of the car then assemble it back in place before getting the car of to paint. Is this a good idea or should I just leave it in place? Disassembly shouldn't take to long assuming the bolts are not rusted up, but how hard is the assembly part again? Cheers Alex |

| Easy Remove and refit it make the painting easier and you can get inplace otherwise blocked |

| removing the rear axel really was a blast! Some bruises, scraped knuckles, broken tools, broken bolts and I even found some rust. well this will at least make the work easier for me.
