MG Midget and Sprite Technical - rear end drips
| Hi all, I have a question. I have had the rear end out of my car for a week now. It is clean and ready for a paint job. I took the drums off to prep for paint, and now there is a puddle of oil on the floor at each end of of the rear. It's not brake fluid, it is gear lube. Do I need seals or is this normal? It didn't leak until I took the drums off. |

| Agree with Norm. Also - make sure axle not over-filled; and axle level on stands... and 1/2-shaft retaining screw is tight. A |
