MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Hose from oil seperator to carb Y-piece

The hose from the oil seperator to the carb Y-piece -

does this have to be oil resistant? a vaccuum pipe?
or is ordinary rubber hose OK??

Oil resistant and needs to be semi-rigid to support a vacuum up to around 10 lb/sq-in.

Thanks for your reply A

I could see the need for a vacuum resistant hose on the pressure valve types but wasn't sure of the need with the hose going to carbs and with vented oil filler cap
