MG Midget and Sprite Technical - head gasket failure
| some of you may remember my trouble with poor running ofr my 69 midge a couple of months ago, first i assumed the head gasket then carbs etc. well in the end i went for the carbs, after seven weeks of waiting for them to bo restored they arrived back from burlin fuel systems, they did look fantastic so just spent the day fitting them back. fingers crossed, started her up and after balancing and few minor tweeks she ran like a dream. to say i was relieved would be an under statement. so if you have dodgy carbs i would fully recommend spending a few hundred quid and get them sorted, and thanks to everyone who gave me all sorts of advice. dan |
