Looking for a Gear Reduction Starter for a 1500, anyone know of a good source in the USA

The guy is a medical doctor, and a really great guy, and the starters are really good quality... plus they have the adjustable ring mount so you find at least one setting that will work

When i got mine it was close to $200 ... its well worth the investment.... id do it agian / everytime and from britishstarters.com

Just be aware that there is very little clearance between the pre-engaged starter and the scuttle. These starters don't like vibration which will cause them to fail.

We went through 2 before my tame racing driver listened to me to not allow the engine to idle below 1500 rpm.

I've since cured the problem by fitting an engine steady bar.
