MG Midget and Sprite Technical - gear box woes!!

good day ladies and gents, I have finally plucked up
courage and removed my ribbed gear box.
it sounds like a bag of old nails and jumps out of 2nd.
any advise for re building/ regards Pete

unless you have some special reason for wanting to DIY don't bother IMO. Give it to somebody like Ken at Klassic Transmissions.

Hi Dave, I was hoping it might be a quick fix!!
I am down in wilds of stoke gabriel devon.
But i have also found the front lever arms will
need replacing as well.I did not want a major rebuild
but is looking that way. regards Pete

I can also recommend Ken at Klassik Trans.

Sorted out my ribcase in about a week.

If you are delivering it to the workshop make sure that you have his mobile number as its a bit hard to find!!
