MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Front hub oil seals

Hi all.

I've bought some new oil seals for the front hubs. I just want to check that the replacement seals are the same for all ages? The seal is quite different, but I can't see why it won't work as the inner bearing will just sit up against the shoulder on the stub axle anyway.

Hi Dave, they look like the ones that I've fitted previously when renewing front bearings.

So, I fitted the oil seal to one side at the weekend, but end result (note, I've had all the bearings out, cleaned them, and re-assembled them) is that the brake disc is now sitting less centrally in the caliper than it was before.
All I can think is that the inner bearing isn't home quite fully? Though I was pretty sure it was.
