MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Frogeye Windscreen Seal
I am trying to fit a new bottom seal on the windscreen. Currently I am not winning the battle. I have tried washing up liquid to get the seal to slide in the frame but I only get so far. Does anyone have any useful tips for getting the seal installed?

Rob Never done it so its only a guess, but have you tried using a hair dryer to apply some mild heat and make it more pliable maybe?

Aerosol silicone is better than washing up liquid. When fitting the seals to the sidescreens I find it useful to polish the slot they are going into with some Autosol or AluMagic and a rag forced into the slot with a screwdriver. I also us a combination of push and pull to sort of 'caterpillar' the seal along.
