MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Frogeye rear end weight ?

Hello, does anyone know the weight of a steel rear end of a frogeye ?
My car has a fibreglass rear end made up in 1962 and I was just curious about the difference in weight compared to an original steel rear end.
A previous owner removed it and reinforced it, because it was very thin.
What's the best type of adhesive for installing a fibreglass rear end ?

I believe one normally uses polyester resin to bond fibre glass to steel.

Sikafast 5211 or Sikaflex 552 should do the job
