MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Drivers Seat Foam
The seat foam on the drivers seat back has worn on the left bolster. Has anyone repaired one of the foams or is it in need of a replacement ? Where is the best or possibly cheapest place to get a new foam from ? It is for a 1975 1500.

You may be able to take the existing foam to an upholstery shop and find the appropriate stuff to repair or replace it. Best of luck, -:G:-

If you decide on a replacement, try PJM Motors they seem to have a good range? Jeremy

I find the biggest difference to a seat comfort is made by replacing the support diapragm or webbing

I replaced mine a couple of years ago. I happen to be in Moss in Bradford & they got one in within a couple of days, I also replaced the webbing. Can't remember how much it was, but it didn't seem all that expensive at the time

I second PJM motors. Bought new seat covers, foams and webbing from them to rebuild my seats. All top quality and I definitely recommend them. They gave good fitting advice over the phone too.
