MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Brake Hose Fit
I ordered a set of Goodridge braided brake hoses with replacement banjo bolts. The banjo bolts appear to be too large ti fit the inside diameter of the hose fitting. Working with the supplier, they sent a replacement set of each; with the same results. The banjo bolts fit the standard rubber hoses fine. According to notes in the supplier's system, the hose fittings are supposed to be "tight". I'm concerened that they're so tight, I'll strip the threads. Has anyone else encountered this, or could it be that the supplied hoses are the wrong dimension. Keep in mind, they've now sent two sets with the same rsults. Thank you.

IIRC the bolts are two sizes for each end. When I did mine I thought it looked odd. Swap em around and use new crush washers to boot, Good luck Dave

The hose fitting is beveled, but it is a smaller ID dimension than the rubber hose fitting. I can apply more torque on the banjo bolt, but I'm concerened for stripping the new caliper threads. I just find it odd that both sets of braided hoses and banjos are the same smaller dimension, when the standard hoses fit the same banjo as expected.
