MG Midget and Sprite Technical - 1/ eliptic rear spring hanger

Hello,
I am restoring my GAN1 and I have to remove the spring supports to inspect the spring box and change the floorpan.

My problem is I had to cut with a angle grinder, the head of the 4 screws in the cockpit. But the spring support did not felt on the floor.
The spring is still attached to the support. So I ask myself if the two scwews wich attache the spring to the top plate (not the U bolt), if those screws are going through the floor or if only the 4 scew I have remove are the only ones to secure the spring and spring support to the floorpan?

All the bolts and nuts are so rusty, I didn't manage to unscrew the other bolts.

The pan is also spot welded to the floor/box.
