There's no Border-line, It's completely chav, except on the Tron recreation electric bike.

Prop if you tried it I'm sure your wheels would end up on fire! lol

perhaps not quite so bright but that might actually be a good safety idea for bikes
Nigel Atkins
That's bloody awful!

It's obvious that they are interested in their safety. Just look at all of the protective they're wearing. Probably because that's all that's required by law. Road rash is part of the fun of riding half naked down the road.

I'm certain they're not doing it for safety but it seems to me it could be a good safety idea

Nigel - I have a little flashing LED thing which replaces the dust cover on the valve of my (pedal) bike wheel. Same sort of idea but very simple, just a little aluminium tube with a watch battery and LED. It came free with a cycling magazine I think. Looks a bit chavvy but does give you side visibility to the traffic. If I'm cycling with lights in town I switch it on. |

Prop, what about those fender(wing) vents you were going to install? Maybe they should be lit with LED's to make it seem as your engine is "on fire". ;)
Trevor Jessie
Mark, a good idea but those in the video light up a lot more I'm surprise the sidewall of bike tyres aren't reflective or wheels with reflective areas, I think the actual total area covered on the bike and luminosity of the lights/reflectors is important and the wheels and tyres are a big combined area As my wife and I we were full time, and pleasure, cyclists for 6 years I know about cycling in traffic and dark country lanes and what cyclist use for lights now whilst bright seem to be very small and the largest are on a bike, the cyclist, now seem to be neglected of any sort of reflective wear, must be fashion and vanity, and personally seeing men in lycra wear isn’t pleasant regardless of how athletic and groomed they are :) Trevor, Prop doesn’t need to make out his engine’s on fire :)

Actually treavor On a side link to that posting there is a lambo with flashing LEDs coming out of side vents...its kind of cool But i still like my orginal idea of some time back.... A clear valve cover and LEDs hooked up to the rocker assembly... So everytime a valve is pushed down it lights up an LED You could run the lights across the hood like 1980s knight rider car and watch your valves as they go thur there cycle... And you would know if one was sticking or not...heck you could even make the LEDs in warning colors on a vacume senor on the valve guild to tell you if a valve isnt seating properly and leaking Hmmm ... I may need another gauge or 2 to determine if the LEDsare working properly Prop
